I can't believe I finally get to add my story to this site. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and finally have our BFP!!
After trying for one year with no luck I was eventually diagnosed with a prolactinoma (a pituitary tumor) that was making me infertile. I was treated with medication, which corrected the infertility. It then took us another 10 months, but finally we are pregnant. I didn't think it was possible this month since I was traveling when I ovulated. We BD on Thurs before I left and the Sunday I came back (ovulated on Sat.)
I actually didn't have too many symptoms...but here are the few I had:
1-3DPO: nothing
4DPO: headache (which is abnormal for me)
5-7DPO: nothing, which is weird because my breasts are usually sore by now
8DPO: had a bad day at work and cried when I got home for 2 hours. This is very bizarre for me. I'm not usually this emotional.
9DPO: headache again and stuffy nose (cold?)
10 DPO: breasts getting sore, but this is late for me
11-13: very, very sore breasts, some cramping but it feels different.
14DPO: period due today, totally not thinking I'm pregnant due to being away during ovulation. Say to my husband how sore my boobs are, which triggered a thought "maybe I'm pregnant" When I got home I snuck in the bathroom to take a test, which I hid in the medicine cabinet so my hubby wouldn't see me taking yet another test, lol. When I went to look it had TWO LINES! I had to look at the instructions to see what that meant. After 2 years of looking for 2 lines and only seeing one, every single time, my mind couldn't comprehend it!!
I'm now 6 weeks along and we are so very excited!! Good luck to all of you and lots of baby dust!!
