After spending the last two weeks obsessively reading BFP stories online, I can now share my own story! My Husband and I started trying to conceive in July, but after two months of not conceiving I decided to buy a digital ovulation prediction kit. I got the beautiful smiley face on cd18, and we had bd'ed the night before, then twice the day I got the positive, and once the following day. My only real symptoms during the two week wait were cramps right after ovulation, and then what felt just like PMS leading up to the day I thought AF was coming. The past two months I had wasted lots of money on expensive hpt's, so this time I ordered a pack of 25 wondfo's from amazon. At 12 dpo they hadn't arrived yet and I really wanted to pee on something, so I used an ovulation prediction kit and it came up positive! That confused me, so I spent countless hours online trying to see what it meant, and some women said it meant pregnancy, while others said it meant af was on her way. Finally on the day my period was due, I got home from work at 5pm and the wondfo's were waiting for me. I peed on one and it was positive! I was in complete shock and just started screaming at the top of my lungs! My dog must have thought I had lost my mind. When my husband came home an hour later (longest hour of my life!) he asked how my day went. I told him I had good news and bad news. I said the bad news was something that had happened at work that day, and then he said "Ok, and what's the good news?" I looked at him and just blurted out "I'm pregnant!" He kissed me and kept saying over and over "I'm so happy!" His parents just so happened to be in town that night so we had plans to meet them for dinner, so I called my parents and invited them to meet us. When the waitress went to get wine glasses for the table, I said "I'm not going to be having any wine...because I'm pregnant!" And it was a wonderful celebration. I wish baby dust for everyone trying!!!
