BFP without even trying
First I felt cramps and thought, oh no, is my endo back? I really should get this checked out. It hadn't hurt so bad since I had my surgery done. After a day the cramps went away. Now and then I felt nauseous and I thought to myself that I thought I had stopped faking pregnancy symptoms after we had our daughter. During my first pregnancy I didn't have a day of nausea but I often felt nauseous while trying to conceive her because I wanted it so badly. Yet now and then the nausea would be back unprompted. Finally on the night before my expected period I dreamt that I saw myself very fat. And I said "you're pregnant!" and she/me squirted me in the eyes with breast milk from her big boobs. I said don't be silly you can't do that yet - it's still very early. The next morning I got the faintest line. I could not believe my eyes! I have never gotten pregnant before without taking Femara so it was a surprise. We weren't really trying (hadn't got the Femara) but also weren't really preventing it (never used condoms). Over the next week the line grew stronger and stronger. I peed on a stick once per day and felt overwhelmed that we were going to be blessed with a second child so soon.
It took me 28 months to conceive our first child. I had moderate endometriosis and an intrauterine fibroid. I got both removed by doctor Andrew Cook in May of 2011. He is a great surgeon. As you know endometriosis is hard to completely remove and often grow back. So I did my research before choosing a doctor so I wouldn't need multiple surgeries and so I could have the large family we dreamt of. I'm happy to say I have a little daughter now born Nov 2012 and a second one on the way due March 2014! I never have any pain anymore or any other symptoms of the endo coming back. I thought I'd post this here because I remember reading this board during my long ttc journey before I found out what was wrong with me and speculated that maybe I had endometriosis and read the endo bfp stories hoping it would be me one day. Sep 2011 I got my first BFP but it ended with miscarriage, March 2012 I got my second BFP and had a beautiful daughter. July 2013 I had my third BFP and now I am 11 weeks pregnant so all seems to be going well and we're hoping for a boy.
