Still in shock! Hubby and I's first attempt for our third and final child. It took over 1 1/2 years to conceive our second, so this really caught me off guard that it happened so fast! I've been reading these stories for years, and I'm so happy to contribute my own now!
I usually have PMS symptoms from Ovulation onward. This month was TOTALLY different!
1 dpo: mild cramping (Unusual in that the cramping never went away. It usually goes away after OV day)
2 dpo: mild cramping. Boobs DON'T hurt (unusual. They usually hurt from OV till AF is over)
3 dpo: Same as above, but noticed I was extremely irritable towards husband. Like snap into an angry hulk woman over nothing!
4-7 dpo: Same as all the above, except I also started craving whole foods like tomatoes and salads.
8 dpo: Same as above, but cramping intensified greatly (implantation probably) and got a terrible cold! Worst runny nose ever!
9 dpo: Boobs start to hurt FINALLY! Cramping still going at it. Took Wondfo test and BFN, but there was a baaaaarely there line hours after testing (husband could NOT see it)
10 dpo: Same as above. Wondfos still blank except for the "imaginary" (or so I thought) lines after they dried. Took a FRER and it was BFN.
11 dpo: Same as above. Wondfos still doing their faint line thing. Evening took a FRER and BFP!!! WHAT?!
Wondfos remained VERY faint until around 20dpo, when they'd show up darker. By that time FRER line was darker than the control. So while Wondfo lines will not get dark early, they were first to tip me off to the pregnancy before FRER did!
Overall, I'd say my biggest symptom was the LACK of sore boobs until 9 dpo. That was just unusual! Then at 9 dpo I just felt this "presence" (for lack of a better word) in my abdomen. At that point I just KNEW.
I have no idea how/ why I conceived this fast when I had such trouble before. The only difference I can think of is I was MUCH more relaxed than last time, and I wasn't exercising or dieting as hard as before (when I was too focused on losing weight).
Hoping for a healthy baby, and can't wait to hold him/her! :)
