I finally got my BFP yesterday and I'm still in denial but I took two different tests and it's definitely it! I've had so many ups and downs over the last year and a bit, and previous months I was convinced this was it saying things to my partner like "I'll eat a hat if I'm not pregnant I just know it!" Only to feel like an idiot when the witch arrived! This month I thought I was out for sure, I had a couple of symptoms but nothing that made me convinced as I read so many charts where I wasn't experiencing much symptoms like other women. I kept my cool when my period didn't arrive on time and still didn't say anything, we even went for a grocery shop and I bought pads. Felt like it was coming at any time!.. I didn't keep track of which days I experienced these but here's what I can remember :)
1dpo- Ovulation was early? Boobs feel fuller like they do at this time- a little bit sore, increase cm a couple of days prior, gassy.. Twitches in ovary lasted about a minute..
2-7dpo- CM dried up, still gassy, boobs still feel full not sore at all though.. Not bloated. Had a dream around implantation time that I could feel implantation and it felt real.
7-10po- Next to no cm, boobs still slightly full not sore at all. Noticed more prominent veins in boobs and areolas appear darker. Still gassy. Thought I was out because I haven't felt any cramps and it should have happened by now! Well I've had very mild twitchy feeling although other months it's been more full on :/
11dpo- For a minute I felt 'warm' in my uterus going to sleep, it's all in my head? Stalked sites for more info.. Boobs still slightly full not sore. Still veiny boobs & dark nipples, not that obvious though.. a bit of reflux..
12dpo- Felt an ache below my belly button that lasted a few minutes, nothing to get my attention really.. achy feet going to bed! Was wanting a foot rub. Also noticed I've wanted more milk lately.. Not bloated, same boobs as previous. Don't 'feel' pregnant at all.
13pdo- mostly same as above. Feel like the which is on her way, I've experienced short feelings of cramping as I always do about now! A little bit more hungry.. When going to sleep I dreamt I took 2 pregnancy tests and both positive!! Woke up sad that it was only a dream.
14dpo- Feel a bit lazy today, definitely PMS'y cranky and irritable. More warmish crampy feelings only mild.. Boobs should be hurting by now if I was pregnant? Nope! They actually feel less full, still a bit hard though, and yep still veiny and slightly darker nipples. Increase appetite. A couple more spots on my face, but still no period! They say 14-16 days after ovulation so I'm convinced she is gunna show soon..
15dpo- Almost was going to test but didn't want to see another negative. No new symptoms..
16dpo- Come 2pm and I'm getting the urge to test. My partner ducks out for a couple of hours and I decide to do it! Felt kinda anxious about it like deep down I knew I was in for a chance as still no period! Took pregnosis test, glanced at it straight after and could see the control line forming, so I thought that was it. Didn't look at it for another couple of minutes and OMG I can see the second line forming and it's getting darker! NO way :D !!! Partner comes home and I tell him the good news & he's stoked! Took my second early first response test and it's even more clear!!! Yayy!!!
I feel like we've been blessed, I've prayed for this for so long! I just have to point out I have had barely any noticeable symptoms of pregnancy. Just a few of the typical PMS ones!.. no spotting, barely any cramping! boobs still feel normal! Main ones are just veiny boobs and darker nipples, gassy and a bit moody.. & how weird is it about my dreams!? I guess my body was trying to tell me something ;) Hang in there all you TTConceivers! It will happen just have faith, don't overly obsess and just imagine you being pregnant and seeing your BFP for the first time! Good luck all and wish us luck for the months ahead! <3
