So over the past year I have spied hundreds of pages like this trying my best to understand what could or what might be happening to my body month by month. So now that I've join the BFP club I though I share for all those watching on the sidelines.
DH and I have been charting for birth control purposes for the past year. My cycles have never been 100% reliable but they are long. I never ovulate before day 22. So needless to say I was shocked and terrified when I got my shift on day 17. One day before we would have up'd the prevention game.
Of course I started having "symptoms", but I just knew I was setting myself up for disappointment. It took me untill 14DPO to get my BFP and it was the longest 2 weeks of my life.
After I found out I thought well maybe my symptoms weren't placebo afterall so here we go.
1-4DPO nothing
5-9DPO sore nipples, but I've had that before.
10DPO Nipples back to normal and slight cramps. I just knew AF was on her way. I did have 2 pretty bad mood swings, but I was preparing for exams (I'm a grad student) also I was feeling disappointed and so I just figured it was stress.
11-13 DPO cramps stayed so AF. (This is the one that got me curious bc I never have cramps more than a few hours of the first day of AF. Also my LPhase is short typically 11days)
14 DPO I got my BFP. Cramps are still here and a little nausea, but that could be because I'm still in shock.
