So I'm still gathering my thoughts and feelings after today's news but I've been following this site so of course I wanted to share! I'm 25 yrs old so I'm pretty young to have just had a polyp removal. (FYI I requested to go under anesthesia and everything went awesome! Basically no pain and small amount of bleeding. Dr. removed several polyps so if you're wondering if you should do it, I say go for it!) I believe these polyps mimicked pregnancy symptoms or either I was pregnant a few times and it caused an early miscarriage; I really prefer not to know since I had a m/c in 2011 and haven't had a + hpt since and it was devastating. But the difference this month from every other month that I had the polyp and/or pms was that from ovulation to missed period is that my breasts never stopped hurting! Not for one day! They usually stop a few days then come back then go away. And that I was falling asleep at like 7pm. Those are the reasons I tested today. My cycle is averaged at 26 days. And this month I didn't get that usual monthly ovulation pain and spotting (I'm guessing the removal cured every little pain lol even though I enjoyed that little OV reminder.) I still keep track of all my symptoms with a period app so I'll give you all the good stuff. I'm reporting this based off the app since I didn't feel OV pains:
CD13: date that app states I OV
1-3DPO: nausea, tender breasts
4-6DPO: tender breasts, freq urination, constipation, neckaches, bloating, backaches, dizzy, headaches, hot flashes, indigestion, nausea, irritable, moody, tired, weepy. On 6dpo I was told my A cups look larger. I had noticed that since 4dpo.
7-9DPO: tender breasts, dull pain in groin, fatigued, cramps, 9dpo and on my elderly cat started becoming very clingy and he's never like that. Insomnia, constipation, bloating, back aches, freq urination.
10-13DPO: fatigued, moody, tender breasts, small crampy feeling, and all the same symptoms listed above.
14DPO BFP!!! Tested in the afternoon with FRER before work because I was getting anxious. I really wanted to wait until Friday because the online calculators said I was at 3.5 weeks, other websites said wait a week after missed period, etc.! (The internet can drive you nuts, according to another calculator based off the cycle length I am at 4 weeks) So I said forget it, my A cup breasts hurt and I have 2 in the pack. So I tested and at first I only saw the control line but I clearly was staring at it too early lol so I walked away and came back 3 minutes later like the instructions said. And voila! It was a faint positive. So I took several pictures (to make sure I wasn't seeing things) and at 4 minutes the test was still clear as day.
I'm really just trying to digest it. Staying off the internet after this, not going to go crazy, not worry about m/c, life, etc... just be calm and happy. Thanks for all of your hopeful stories over the years! Love!
